Watchout Programmer, 2019 - 2020
- Programmed video in Watchout for “Soft Power” at the Public Theater in New York.

BRIDGMAN | PACKER DANCE COMPANY
Isadora Programmer, 2018 - 2019
- Programmed and ran projecections for a new experimental dance piece.
- Loaded in a complex show under a tight deadline at several venues.
- Managed a complex system of computers, projectors, and lights under tight deadlines.
- The piece was praised by critics across the Northeast, with one critic referring to it as “a vertiginous celebration of all it means to be human."
CENTRAL CITY OPERA
A/V Technician, 2018 - 2019
- Worked as porjections programmer and operator for Central City Opera’s “Billy Budd” in the summer of 2019.
- Helped to install new A/V system in the summer of 2018 production “Il Trovatore.”
- Overhauled existing system with more modern equipment, allowing for more complex designs.
DENVER CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
Multimedia Specialist, 2012 – 2018
- Designed projections for many plays, including “Two Degrees,” “All the Way” and “Frankenstein.”
- Used After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro to build content.
- Used Isadora and Watchout to design projections using multiple computers and multiple projectors.
- DCPA’s “Frankenstein” was widely celebrated for its use of projections. 303 Magazine wrote “The use of projections, designed by Topher Blair and Charlie Miller, throughout the production brings this period piece right into the modern age.” Photos can be seen at topherblair.com/frankenstein.
OPERA COLORADO
Projection Designer/AV Technician 2014 - 2016
- Designed projections for the new opera adaptation of The Scarlet Letter, premiering on May 7th, 2015.
- Worked as IATSE programmer and operator for projections on Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” and the contemporary opera “As One.”
- Worked with the company as they entered into the modern theatrical era by helping them incorporate multimedia into more of their shows.
- The Boulder Daily Camera wrote of “The Magic Flute,” “The staging, which relied heavily on projections, was gorgeous and immersive. The concept not only allowed for seamless transitions of scene but enhanced the fairy tale atmosphere.”
